Alyssa was born and raised in McAllen, TX. She started her professional career as a hairstylist in 2012 and became a “Texture Specialist” in 2017 after noticing a lack of curly hair specialists and salons in the Rio Grande Valley. Wanting to help everyone embrace their natural texture and color, she decided to start her first independent business with a mission to help everyone who sits in her chair with a unique and custom experience, leaving feeling transformed and educated on their new hairstyle. Alyssa has over 10 years of experience and has achieved several certifications. She keeps up with current trends and techniques to keep bringing new and exclusive styles to her clients. With certifications from major companies and academies including Brazilian Blowout, OLAPLEX, DevaCurl, and RËZO Academy. Also, annually attending industry conferences and ongoing education. She prides herself on being an inclusive stylist providing services to anyone, men, women, and especially children! Alyssa Cuts Curls is located centrally in McAllen, TX, and also travels across the RGV to South Padre Island, TX. Her private studio offers one-on-one sessions, so you have complete privacy and space to relax and freedom to express your opinions. Double booking (2 clients at the same appointment) is available upon request. Every service will begin with a thorough consultation. We will discuss your hair goals, concerns, and hair history as well. Then the service will be completed with instructions for styling, product recommendations, and maintenance. The studio and implements are sanitized between every client, and an air purifier is in place to keep airborne germs away. Health and safety is the main priority. Complementary beverages and sweets are provided for every guest. **Guest Policy:** At Alyssa Cuts Curls, we strive to provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all our clients. To maintain a serene atmosphere and ensure the best service possible, we have implemented the following guest policy: **No Guests Allowed Unless Receiving a Service:** To maintain the comfort and privacy of our clients, we kindly ask that only individuals receiving a service accompany you to your appointment. This policy allows us to focus our attention on providing exceptional service to each client without distractions. **Unaccompanied Minors Policy:** For the safety and well-being of all our clients, we do not permit unaccompanied minors to be left in the salon. We understand that circumstances may arise where childcare arrangements are necessary, and we kindly ask that you make appropriate arrangements to ensure the smooth operation of your appointment. Cancellation Policy
You will be charged a cancellation fee if you cancel or reschedule your appointment without giving a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to the start of the appointment. The cancellation fee will be 100% of the service amount.
