As a certified curly hair specialist, I focus on corrective shaping, scalp wellness, and long-term hair health for wavy, curly, and coily textures. Every appointment begins with listening. I take time to assess your curl pattern, scalp condition, lifestyle, and goals before designing a plan tailored specifically to you. Through precision dry cutting, customized treatments, and hands-on styling education, my goal is to help you understand your hair — not just style it. As a mom and small business owner, I understand how valuable your time is. That’s why I’ve built a calm, private studio experience where you can feel cared for, heard, and confident — without the chaos of a busy salon floor. This isn’t a rushed appointment. Cancellation Policy
At Alyssa Cuts & Curls, each appointment is reserved exclusively for one guest at a time to ensure a private, focused, and high-quality experience. Because time is set aside specifically for you, the following policies are in place to protect both your time and the integrity of the studio schedule. Booking Deposits A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. Deposits may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment if changes are made within the permitted rescheduling window. Cancellations & Rescheduling Appointments may be rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time without penalty. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to attend a scheduled appointment (“no-show”), will result in the full service amount being charged to the card on file. Future bookings may be restricted until any outstanding balance is resolved. Late Arrivals A 15-minute grace period is provided. If arrival exceeds 15 minutes and the full service cannot be completed without impacting subsequent guests, the appointment may be canceled and the deposit forfeited. If the service can proceed without disruption, a $50 late fee may be applied. After-Hours Appointments Appointments scheduled outside regular business hours are subject to a 50% extended-hours fee applied to the total service cost. Redo Policy Client satisfaction is important. If you are not fully satisfied, please contact the salon within 48 hours of your appointment to schedule a complimentary adjustment. Redo appointments do not constitute a refund and must be completed within a reasonable timeframe. Agreement By booking an appointment with Alyssa Cuts & Curls, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the policies outlined above. Booking reserves dedicated time in the studio and serves as a mutual commitment between guest and stylist. Appointments are considered a contractual agreement for services at the scheduled time.
