Whether you’re struggling with curls, scalp concerns, thinning, excessive shedding, product confusion, or simply don’t know where to start, this one-on-one consultation provides clarity and a personalized plan. We’ll discuss your hair and scalp history, lifestyle, routine, medications, health factors, chemical services, and goals. Using a professional digital scalp analysis, I’ll examine your hair and scalp for buildup, irritation, oil imbalance, mineral deposits, and other visible concerns. You’ll receive personalized education on curl pattern, density, porosity, scalp care, products, ingredients, home care, and styling, along with customized recommendations and a step-by-step plan. Consultation only. Haircut, shampoo, styling, and treatments are not included. Concerns requiring medical evaluation may be referred to a dermatologist or healthcare provider.

The most comprehensive experience at Alyssa Cuts & Curls and the recommended starting point for first-time guests or anyone needing a fresh start. We begin with an extended consultation and hair + scalp evaluation, followed by a customized dry haircut based on your natural texture, density, goals and lifestyle. Next, your hair is cleansed and reset with a customized detox and targeted moisture and/or repair treatment based on what your hair needs. After cleansing and treatment, we move into hands-on product education, application and styling techniques, followed by proper drying and diffusing. Once completely dry, your haircut is detailed and refined for balance and shape. We’ll finish by reviewing the products used, answering questions and creating a personalized product and at-home maintenance plan so you leave knowing how to recreate and maintain your results.

Whether your hair is straight, wavy, curly or coily, this customized experience is designed around your shape, length and hair goals. We’ll begin with a brief consultation to discuss your desired shape, length, growth goals and any hair concerns. Your cut is always performed dry to work with your natural texture, movement and shape. Next, enjoy a professional shampoo and conditioner followed by product application, styling and drying appropriate for your hair and selected service option. Once dry, your shape is detailed and refined. Choose the option that best matches your length and density so the appropriate time is reserved. Standard finishing is included. For additional drying or heat styling, select a Diffuse, Blowout, Smooth + Flat Iron or Silk Press add-on when booking. Detox and intensive treatments are available separately as add-ons.

A quick, dry-cut maintenance service for returning guests who have had a full haircut with me within the past 6 months. Your hair should already have an established shape that you’re happy with. This service includes trimming the ends and maintaining your existing shape. All hair textures are welcome. This service does not include shampooing, styling, creating a new shape, significant reshaping, major length changes, or correcting an existing haircut. If it has been more than 6 months since your last full haircut with me, you’d like to change your shape, or your hair needs to be washed and styled, please book the Signature Haircut Experience instead. Please review available add-ons if additional time is needed.

A customized wash and styling experience designed to refresh, hydrate, and redefine your natural texture. Includes cleansing, conditioning selected for your hair’s needs, professional styling products, diffusing, and personalized curl-care guidance. Choose Extra Long / Thick Hair if additional time is needed due to length, density, or styling time. Haircut not included. Thermal styling may be added when available.

Enjoy a customized blowout designed to leave your hair smooth, polished, and full of movement. This service includes a relaxing shampoo, professional conditioning, and a precision blow-dry tailored to your hair type and desired finish. Choose from sleek and smooth, soft volume, or a bouncy finish, with professional styling products selected for humidity protection, shine, and lasting results. Perfect for special occasions, events, or a confidence boost between haircut appointments. Flat ironing is not included and may be added with the Thermal Style Upgrade. Suitable for all hair types. This service does not include a haircut.

A gentle, personalized haircut experience for children ages 2–6. Each haircut is customized to your child’s texture, density, and individual needs, with an emphasis on healthy hair and a positive salon experience. Choose Haircut Only for basic maintenance, Haircut + Wash & Style for a complete service, or Haircut + Intensive Detangling when additional time and care are needed. All hair textures are welcome. Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

A gentle wash and styling experience for children ages 2–6. Includes cleansing, conditioning, and styling customized to your child’s hair texture, density, and comfort level. Hair may be finished in its natural texture or appropriately dried and styled. Significant tangling or matting requires additional time. Haircut not included. All hair textures are welcome.

A quick maintenance service for existing guests who want to refresh their bangs or face-framing pieces between full haircut appointments. Includes light trimming and reshaping to keep your current look polished. Shampoo and styling are not included. Ideal every 3–6 weeks between full haircuts. If you’re looking for a significant change, more extensive shaping, or a larger haircut adjustment, please book the Signature Haircut Experience instead. Available to current guests only.

A customized treatment experience designed around the current condition and needs of your hair. After assessing factors such as dryness, buildup, porosity, elasticity, damage, and overall hair health, I’ll select the professional treatment best suited for your hair. Your service may include clarifying or mineral removal, intensive hydration, bond repair, strengthening, or a customized combination of treatments. Includes cleansing, treatment and professional styling, along with personalized recommendations to help maintain your results at home. For concerns primarily involving the scalp, please book Root Ritual Therapy instead.
